Pastor Barbara Palmer works extensively in the ministry alongside her husband as the co-pastor of Kingdom Celebration Center. She is currently the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Kingdom Kare Childcare Center & Kingdom Kafe & Lounge.
Pastor Barbara accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in 1985. Upon accepting her call to ministry in 1995, she began mentoring young ladies on self-esteem and self-worth. As a former victim of domestic violence, she is compelled to minister to women experiencing similar crisis.
She suffered a traumatic loss when her son committed suicide at the age of 19 years old and is a strong advocate for young people who suffer with depression and low self-esteem.
Pastor Barbara has also traveled abroad to various countries such as Germany, Scotland, England, Italy, and Kenya on business and missions. She holds a Certification in Small Business Management, Bachelors in Bank Finance, a Bachelor’s in divinity, a Masters in Pastoral Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education- Administration with a minor in Psychology. She will begin her fall semester to receive her PhD in Education. She has been listed in Who's Who among International Executive Women and has served over 15 years in several roles such as Program Coordinator, Grants Administrator, Public Speaker and Director of Programs for a local nonprofit. She has also received a Governor's Citation for her work with the youth in the community.
Pastor Barbara has written her first book entitled "No Regrets" and holds a yearly conference teaching woman how to "Trust their Journey". She is the CEO of Palm Tree Consulting where she travels to various organizations and churches providing workshops on grant writing, nonprofit status and leadership development. She has a great gift in organizational development and non-profit management and stands firms in her God knowing that her pulpit is in the marketplace.
Her passion in life is to serve her family which consist of not only her husband of 25 years, but her son Randy, daughter-in-law Kimberly and her grandchildren.
